Julie Dodwell is a Canadian immigration lawyer based in Ottawa, dedicated to helping individuals and families navigate the complexities of Canada’s immigration system. Fluent in both English and French, Julie provides strategic, compassionate, and results-driven legal guidance across a wide range of matters, including permanent residency, work permits, family sponsorships, study visas, refugee claims, appeals, judicial reviews, and citizenship applications. Julie brings a passion for the rights and wellbeing of immigrants to her role as founder of Dodwell Immigration Law. She has represented on a variety of immigration files over the years, most recently as a staff lawyer at Community Legal Services of Ottawa.
When she is not practising as a lawyer, Julie is usually reading, learning languages, or planning her travels.
